Dear Visiting Teams,
On behalf of the Farmingdale State College Athletic Trainers, we would like to welcome you to Farmingdale, New York. We would like to update you on happenings at Farmingdale State College.
We are in the process of major renovations to our Athletic facilities. Nold Hall is under renovations and our Athletic Training room and Locker rooms are located in Trailers. We do have a fully operating Training room, but space is limited.
With that being said, we will be available to assist you and your team during your visit. Teams traveling with a Certified Athletic Trainer are welcome to use our Clinics and modalities as needed. If your team is without a Certified Athletic Trainer, please send supplies along with the team, and notify us in advance in order for us to accommodate your needs. Please allow ample time before the start of your competition to treat your athletes. If it is at all possible to prepare your athletes prior to your arrival this would be a major help to everyone involved.
A Certified Athletic Trainer will be present at all competitions. Water, ice, ice bags, and emergency equipment will be available on the sidelines.
After competitions, there are showers available for the athletes, but towels and toilettes will have to be provided by the athlete.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact any of our staff at (631) 420-2539.
Thank you for your understanding and consideration.
-The Farmingdale State College Athletic Trainers
Don Haworth, Head Athletic Trainer
Jennifer Bergstein, Assistant Athletic Trainer
Jessica Dautner, Assistant Athletic Trainer
