Head Coach: Tom Azzara (14th season)

Coach Tom Azzara has been the Head Golf Coach at Farmingdale State since 2001. Prior to that, Coach Azzara was the assistant coach for two years under then Head Coach and Athletic Director Bruce Robbins, who retired in 2000.

Azzara has led the Rams to the NCAA Division III Championships in seven of the last eight seasons. In 2010, Farmingdale State finished in 20th place and made the cut as a team for the first time in school history. Coach Azzara has been named the Skyline Conference Coach of the Year five times (2006-07, 2008-09, 2009-10, 2010-11, 2011-12, 2012-13).

Coach Azzara has been at Farmingdale State since 1992 and currently serves as the Associate Athletic Director, a position he has held since 1997. Prior to that, he was the Sports Information Director and also worked in the Department of Communications at the College.

Coach Azzara received his Bachelors Degree in Physical Education from Cortland State and his Master's Degree in Professional Studies (Athletic Administration Concentration) from Stony Brook University.

Assistant Coach: Michael Montagnino

Coach Montagnino, who is a Class A PGA Professional, has been the golf teams Assistant Coach since 2001. Coach Montagnino's role for the team is to improve all facets of each team member's game - Fullswing, Shortgame and Course Management. Coach Montagnino utilizes the team's outdoor natural grass practice range and indoor practice putting green along with a state of the art computer JVC Video system and golf simulator.

Coach Montagnino received his Bachelors in Business Administration - Marketing from Mississippi State University's Professional Golf Management Program in 1990.

Assistant Coach: Ryan Williams

Coach Williams has been with the team since 2006, playing a year and a half for the Rams and then joining the coaching staff after graduation.

In his senior year, Williams was named First Team All-Skyline, leading the team to a Conference Championship and a first-ever appearance in the Division III National Tournament. He had held the school record for low round after shooting a 70 in his first match with the team at St. George's Country Club. For his academics, he was twice named a Chancellor's Scholar-Athlete award winner during both his years at FSC.

Williams, who is still an amateur, played in the 2011 and 2012 New York State Open at Bethpage State Park - Black Course. In 2012, he also qualified for 110th Met Amateur Championship as well as the United States Mid-Amateur Championship at Conway Farms Golf Club in Lake Forest, Illinois.

Williams graduated in December 2007 with a Bachelor's degree in Management Technology (Sports Management Minor). He now works full-time in the Farmingdale State Athletic department as the Assistant Sports Information Director and is also in charge of Sponsorships for the athletic department.
