Farmingdale State improved their record to 2-5 overall this afternoon with a 16-4 win over Baruch College (0-3) in a non-conference baseball game in Farmingdale, NY. Freshman Jon Kishanuk (Hicksville, NY/Hicksville) pitched four innings for the win and is now 1-0 after his first start of the season. Freshman Luis Feliciano (Bronx, NY/Park West) scored the first run of the game for Farmingdale, taking a lead-off walk and coming in off a Bill Jansen (Westhampton Beach, NY/Westhampton Beach) RBI single. The Rams would then score five runs in the second, four in the third and three in the fourth to take a commanding 12-2 lead into the fifth inning.

Senior captain Anthony Scali (Massapequa Park, NY/Massapequa) had two hits for Farmingdale, bringing in four runs and scoring twice. Feliciano had two walks and two hits in four at-bats, and now leads the team in on-base percentage. Sophomore Nick Barone finished with three hits and three runs batted in.

Farmingdale State will travel to Manhattanville College for a Skyline Conference double-header on Saturday, April 9th starting at noon.
