Manhattanville Takes Conference Double-Header

Farmingdale State dropped to 2-7 overall after losing both games in a Skyline Conference double-header to Manhattanville College (4-3) on Saturday afternoon at Manhattanville Yard in Purchase, NY. The Rams started up a late comeback in game one scoring runs in the final four innings, but falling 9-8. In game two, Farmingdale trailed 13-3 in the top of the seventh before scoring seven runs and falling 13-10. Sophomore Stephen Corvetti (Rockville Centre, NY/Southside) led the Rams with four runs batted in and five hits, while senior Anthony Scali (Massapequa Park, NY/Massapequa) had five hits and scored three runs.

The Rams now face Maritime College for a conference double-header on Sunday, April 10th at noon.
