Mariners Take Conference Win from Rams

A six run sixth-inning for the Kings Point Mariners (6-13, 4-5 Skyline) gave relief pitcher J.B. Zorn the 9-6 victory to take a conference win from Farmingdale State (4-10, 3-5 Skyline) on April 14th in Kings Point, NY. Bobby Neelon led the Mariners with 3 runs batted in, while Harlow Wood and Kellan Lancaster drove two runs in each. Farmingdale?s Nick Barone (North Babylon, NY/North Babylon) had two doubles and two runs batted in. Freshman Rich Santoro (Massapequa, NY/Massapequa) knocked in two runs off two hits and scored one run. Keith Gottschalk (Washingtonville, NY/Washingtonville) took the loss for the Rams, but not before striking out six batters over 5.2 innings.

Farmingdale State will face King?s Point on Saturday, April 16th at home for a double-header starting at noon.
