The Rams baseball team fell to 6-21, 4-16 Skyline after a loss to conference rival Old Westbury (16-19, 11-9 Skyline) on Wednesday afternoon at Panther Park in Old Westbury, NY. The Panthers scored a run in the first and led 1-0 after six innings, before scoring a combined nine runs over the next two innings to take a commanding lead. Old Westbury senior right-hander Richard Ruiz (Bronx, NY) threw a five-hitter, striking out three in the 10-0 victory. Junior Rob Knips (Commack, NY) led the Panthers with three hits, two runs scored and an RBI.

Farmingdale’s Rob Piervinanzi (New Hyde Park, NY/Herricks) led the team with two hits and a walk. Senior captain Anthony Scali (Massapequa Park, NY/Massapequa) relieved Eric Boyajian (Middletown, NY/Minisine) in the eighth inning. This was Scali's third relief appearance in as many games.

The Rams host Mount Saint Vincent for their final games of the season on Thursday, May 5th, a double-header starting at 2:00pm.
