![]() Barone Breaks School Record for Triples

Game One: Farmingdale State 8 Mount Saint Vincent 6 Game Two: Mount Saint Vincent 10 Farmingdale State 4 Farmingdale sophomore Nick Barone (North Babylon, NY/North Babylon) broke the school record for triples today, as his sixth triple of the season drove in the Rams winning run in the 8-6 come-from-behind rally in game one of a conference double-header against Mount Saint Vincent (15-18, 11-11 Skyline). Farmingdale lost the second game 10-4 and finished the 2005 season with a 7-22 record overall, 5-17 in the Skyline. Barone finished with two hits and 3 RBI’s in game one for Farmingdale, while Rich Santoro (Massapequa, NY/Massapequa) finished with two RBI’s in game two. Mount Saint Vincent’s Tanner Munroe (Milford, CT/Foran) had two hits, including a homerun in game one, while Logan Mauzy (Homer, NY/Homer Central) finished with two RBI’s in game two. |
