Baseball Team Takes Part in Tunnel to Towers Run

Tunnel to Towers Run

This year, the Farmingdale State Baseball Team took part in the Annual Tunnel to Towers 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, September 24th, 2006.

Assistant baseball coach, Danny Maccagli, and many of the student-athletes on the baseball team traveled into the city to honor a true American hero.

In this memorial 5K Run/Walk, they honored and followed the footsteps of an American Hero firefighter, Stephen Siller, who on September 11th, 2001 gave his life trying to reach the Twin Towers.
