Mar 26, 2007

Farmingdale State sophomore outfielder/pitcher Tom Heeman (Valley Stream, N.Y./Hewlett) was named the Skyline Conference Player of the Week for baseball on Monday, March 26th. Heeman had a strong all-around week in six games last week. At the plate, Heeman batted .474 (9-for-19) with three extra-base hits, four runs scored, three runs batted in and three stolen bases. He helped the Rams earn a split with Old Westbury by going 4-for-5 with two doubles in a 14-8 win in the second game.
