Savarese Named to Skyline Player of the Week Honor
Roll
Farmingdale State senior pitcher Rob Savarese (Syosset,
N.Y./Syosset) was named to the Skyline Conference Player of the
Week Honor Roll for baseball on Monday, April 7th.
Savarese went a full 7 innings in game two against St. Joe's,
throwing a two-hitter to help the Rams to a 5-0 win and a split of
the conference doubleheader. In 24 batters faced, he held St. Joe's
to a .083 batting average with no extra-base hits, struck out two
and only walked two.
