![]() Rams to Host the 2008 Skyline Conference Baseball Playoffs Farmingdale, N.Y. - The brand new Farmingdale State FieldTurf baseball stadium has been chosen as the host site for the 2008 Skyline Conference Baseball Playoffs by the conference athletic directors. The Tournament will feature the Top 6 teams in the Skyline and will start on Wednesday, April 30th in a single-elimination First Round to be played at the highest seeds, with the top two teams receiving a Bye. The final three rounds will be double-elimination and will be played on May 2nd, 3rd and 4th at Farmingdale State. The Rams have already secured a spot in the Playoffs as they hold an 11-3 record with their final conference doubleheader at Purchase this Saturday, April 26th in Purchase, N.Y. If they win one game on Saturday, they will clinch a First Round bye and will be either the #1 or #2 seed for the Tournament. The final Skyline rankings will be posted on Sunday night after all the games are completed at www.skylineconference.org. Stay tuned for more info.
