Matthew graduated from Clarke in 2006, where he was an All-County Goalie, All-County Honorable Mention and All-Conference for soccer. For baseball, he was All-League, All-Conference and part of the State Championship Team in 2005. He is the son of Nancy and Wayne Weingartner.
