Kevin Curtis Named Skyline Conference Player of the Week
Lawrenceville, N.J. - Sophomore first baseman Kevin
Curtis (Riverhead, N.Y./Riverhead) was named Skyline Conference
Player of the week for baseball on Monday, April 6th. He currently
leads the conference with a .466 batting average.
Curtis sparked Farmingdale State College to a 6-1 week (5-1
Skyline) by batting .609 (14-for-23) with an .870 slugging
percentage, including four doubles, a triple, 10 runs scored and
eight runs batted in. Curtis had at least one hit and scored at
least one run in all seven games. He went 5-for-7 with three RBI in
a sweep of Old Westbury.
