Rams Heading for NCAA DIII Championship

Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State Rams are heading to Wisconsin on Wednesday to compete in the 2009 NCAA Division III Baseball Championship this weekend.
Qualifying on Saturday (May 16) for the eight-team, double
elimination tournament that will be held May 22-26 at Time Warner
Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium in Grand Chute, Wis., were Kean
University (N.J.), Shenandoah University (Va.) and the University
of St. Thomas (Minn.).
Three teams joined that group on Sunday (May 17) as Chapman
University (Calif.), Farmingdale State College (N.Y.) and defending
champion Trinity College (Conn.) were crowned regional
champions.
Monday (May 18) saw the final two schools punch their tickets as
Carthage (Wis.) and Wooster (Ohio) will be the final two teams in
the Championship.
Action at Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium begins May
22 at 10 a.m. with Carthage (36-7) playing Wooster (39-9). That
contest will be followed by a 1:15 p.m. game between Kean
University (38-9) and Trinity College (33-5).
The opening day of the tournament concludes with games at 4:30
p.m. between Shenandoah University (37-8) and Farmingdale State
College (30-15) and 7:45 p.m. between Chapman University (30-15)
and the University of St. Thomas (36-12).
Serving as hosts of the finals of the 2009 NCAA Division III
Baseball Championship are Lawrence University and the University of
Wisconsin-Oshkosh. The tournament is being held at Time Warner
Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium for the 10th consecutive
year.

contacting the Lawrence University Ticket Office at (920) 832-6773.
Credit card orders will be accepted until Wednesday (May 20).
