Bethpage, NY - Junior Kyle Havas (Lindenhurst, NY/Lindenhurst) won the individual title and Farmingdale placed two other players in the Top-five as the Rams captured the 2006 Skyline Conference Team Championship held the past two days at Bethpage State Park. With the victory, Farmingdale earned an automatic bid to the 2007 NCAA Championship Tournament to be held May 15-18 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Havas shot a 76 on Monday in very windy conditions giving him a two-day total of 154 and a four stroke victory over second place finisher Jason Zubatkin (158) of Manhattanville. Havas began day-two one shot behind Zubatkin, and after doubling holes 1 & 2, finished the final 16 holes two-over par earning him the individual title.

Sophomore Tim Pellegrino (Wantagh, NY/Wantagh) finished in third place individually with a total of 159 (79-80) and senior Ryan Williams (Westbury, NY/Clarke) placed fifth overall posting a 161 after rounds of 80-81. Sophomore Alec Salvitti (Medford, NY/Patchogue-Medford) rounded out the top-ten shooting a total of 168 for the tournament. Stevens Tom Merriam finished in fourth place individually (160) after shooting a second day score of 76.
