Schwartz Tied for 9th Place Individually at the NCAA's

Farmingdale, N.Y. - After the first round of the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championships, Farmingdale State sophomore Andrew Schwartz (Commack, N.Y./Commack) is tied for 9th place individually out of 180 participating golfers in Division III. Schwartz shot a 74 at Hawthorns Golf & Country Club today, leading his team with a 2-over par performance.

The team is currently in 31st place and they have one more round as a team tomorrow. The Top 23 teams will make the cut after tomorrow and the Top 5 individuals from the 12 teams that do not make the cut will stay to compete as an individual.
