Riverhead, N.Y. - In steady 30 mph winds at Long Island National Golf Club, Farmingdale State posted a final round 326 and finished in third place with a two-day total of 638. In a field consisting of 12 Division II teams, Adelphi (614) won the team championship finishing four strokes ahead of Le Moyne College.

Senior Adam Larkin (Bellmore, N.Y.) finished tied for fifth individually after a final round 80 and two-day toal of 155. Sophomore Scott Sessions (Pleasantville, N.Y.) shot a second round 83 after opening with a 76 for a total of 159. Senior Rich Kelly (Oceanside, N.Y.) recorded a team-leading 79 in Saturday's final round.

John Clare (144) of Le Moyne defeated Adelphi's Dylan Daxon on the first playoff hole to claim the individual title.

The Rams next will host the Farmingdale State Skyline Invitational on Friday, September 27th at the Bethpage State Park - Red Course. The first tee time on Friday is 11:00 a.m.
