Men Qualify for ECAC's at NYU Fast Track Meet

The men's and women's indoor track teams competed in the NYU Fast Track Meet on Friday, February 24th at the 168 St. Armory in New York City. The men's 4x400m Relay team of Reggie Routier, Shane Smith, Jason Chin-Chitty and Armann Leiffson ran 3:26.46 to qualify for the ECAC Championships on March 3-4 at Ursinus in Collegeville, Pennsylvania.

Freshman Kara Grech broke her own school record in the Pole Vault with a vault of 8'10 1/4" (2.70m). This is the second time this season that Kara has set the school record.

Other notable performances:

Ian Lovergie - 4th place - High Jump - 6' 3 1/4" (1.91m)

Akil Williams - 6th place - High Jump - 6' 3 1/4" (1.91m)

Mike Landi - 1000m - 2:38.22 - personal best
