ECAC Indoor Track & Field Championships
Friday and Saturday, March 2-3, 2007 @ Wesleyan University Middletown, Conn. - Junior team captain Reggie Routier (Freeport, N.Y./Freeport) won the Triple Jump in a school record 14.46-meters (47' 5 1/4") at the ECAC Championships on March 2nd, 2007, held at Wesleyan University. The previous record of 46'8" was set in 1990 by Cory Muse. Freshman Chris Herbst (Baiting Hollow, N.Y./Riverhead) placed 6th in the same Triple Jump event, with a personal best jump or 13.54-meters (44' 5 1/4"). The 4x200-meter Relay team of Jason Chin Chitty (Beacon, N.Y./Beacon), Reuben Hairston (Freeport, N.Y./Freeport), Azell Green (Pelham, N.Y./Pelham Memorial) and Kensley Norian (East Meadow, N.Y./East Meadow) placed 5th in a season best 1:32.38. This moves the Relay to number five on Farmingdale's All-Time list. The men's team tied for 16th place overall, out of 73 entered teams and 53 scoring teams.
