Rams Finish Second at Keystone Holiday Tournament

The Rams took second place at the Keystone Holiday Tournament in LaPlume, Pennsylvania over the past weekend. Junior Kenny McMillan (Bronx, NY/All Hallows) and freshman Brandon Nieves (Harlem, NY/All Hallows) were named to the All-Tournament Team. McMillan finished with 33 points, 20 rebounds, two assists and four steals. Nieves posted 28 points, 6 rebounds, one assist and two steals.

In the first game, the Rams defeated Marymount University 78-72 led by McMillan?s 22 points and 11 rebounds. Senior Damien McKenzie (Lakeview, NY/Malverne) was second in scoring with 15 points and seven boards.

In the Championship game against Keystone, Farmingdale sunk seven three?s for a 40-37 lead at the half. The Rams struggled from the field in the second and fell to Keystone 88-68. Nieves led the Rams with 16 points. Senior Jimmy Williams (Philadelphia, PA/Cedar Grove) finished with 12 points.

The Rams will resume their schedule after the holiday break on January 10th, 2005 at St. Joseph?s College for a Skyline Conference game at 7:00 p.m.
