McMillan Reaches 1,000 and Leads Rams over Mount Saint Mary

Junior Kenny McMillan (Bronx, NY/All Hallows) finished with 14 points and 12 rebounds, leading the Rams (12-5, 9-0) to a 73-59 win over Mount Saint Mary (10-7, 8-2). McMillan laid in his 1,000th point after a steal with 6:17 remaining in the game. He is only the second player to reach this mark since Farmingdale joined the NCAA in 2000. Brandon Nieves (Harlem, NY/All Hallows) led the Rams with 15 points, while Jimmy Williams (Philadelphia, PA/Cedar Grove) finished with 12.

The Blue Knights were led by sophomore Mike Hoyt (Florida, NY/S.S. Seward) with a game-high 20 points, including five three-pointers. Sergio Guzman (New York, NY/Martin Luther King) had 17 points and nine boards. Roberto King (Hempstead, NY/Holy Trinity) tallied 14 points.

Farmingdale State travels to King?s Point, NY to face the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy on Monday, January 31st for a conference game at 8:00pm.
