Rams Win Again in Double-Overtime

For the second time in three games, Farmingdale came away with a double-overtime road victory, this time defeating The College of Staten Island 96-94. The Rams led by 12 with six minutes remaining in regulation before Staten Island (12-10) tied the score with 30 seconds left to force overtime.

Farmingdale's Brandon Nieves (Harlem, NY/All Hallows) scored 8 of his team-high 26 points in overtime leading the Rams down the stretch. Nieves added 10 rebounds and 4 assists for Farmingdale (15-6, 11-0 Skyline), who saw four players score in double figures. Kenny McMillan (Bronx, NY/All Hallows) had his third straight double-double, scoring 21 points and grabbing a game-high 18 rebounds for Farmingdale. Dashawn Warren (Astoria, NY/W.C. Bryant) and Damien McKenzie (Lakeview, NY/Malverne) chipped in with 15 points each for the Rams, who resume Skyline play tomorrow night at Stevens Tech.

Senior guard Mike Stewart (Brooklyn, NY/George Westinghouse) scored 31 points and senior forward John Smith (Queens, NY/Bayside) added 22 points and 14 rebounds in defeat for the Dolphins.
