Farmingdale Basketball to Play on Stevens Duckcast

HOBOKEN, N.J. (October 10, 2006) In the midst of a widely successful debut during the fall, DuckCast is pleased to announce its tentative schedule for the winter season. Starting in November, DuckCast will offer live video webcasts of select home events for four varsity sports men's basketball, women's basketball, men's volleyball and wrestling at Stevens Institute of Technology. The Rams will be traveling to Stevens this season and have been chosen as an opponent for webcasts featured on January 22nd and January 30th.

"The response to DuckCast has been amazing," Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Information Brian Granata (Carlstadt, N.J.) said. "We have received positive feedback on a consistent basis throughout the fall from families and fans across the country. We are very excited to offer a full slate of games this winter."

DuckCast kicks off its winter schedule on November 21 with the women's basketball home-opener against Fairleigh Dickinson University at 7 p.m. Stevens will also provide live webcast coverage of games against Drew University (November 30), Mount Saint Mary College (December 9), Manhattanville College (January 13), Farmingdale (January 22), United States Merchant Marine Academy (January 27) and SUNY College at Old Westbury (February 3).

For men's basketball, DuckCast will carry the home-opener against City College of New York on November 29 as well as games against Mount Saint Mary (December 9), St. Joseph's College (January 10), College of Mount Saint Vincent (January 16), Farmingdale (January 30), Old Westbury (February 3) and the Merchant Marine (February 14).

On December 8, DuckCast opens its wrestling schedule with a match between Stevens and Elizabethtown College at 7 p.m. Stevens will also carry live webcasts of matches against the University of Scranton on January 18 and Trinity College on January 24.

Starting in January, DuckCast will begin carrying men's volleyball matches. The first webcast is slated for January 20 against Mount Saint Vincent at 11 a.m. DuckCast will also cover matches against SUNY New Paltz (February 16), Vassar College (March 9) and Juniata College (March 23).
