Riverdale, NY - Junior guard Rich Riss (Tarrytown, NY/Archbishop Stepinac) posted a team-leading 16 points in the Rams' 83-70 win over Mount Saint Vincent (1-7, 0-3 Skyline) this afternoon. Farmingdale improved to 4-1, 3-0 with the victory.

The Rams held just a three-point lead at halftime, but poured in 49 points in the second for the 13 point final advantage. Junior guard Peter Lipka (Shelton, CT/Shelton) finished with 15 points and six rebounds, while junior forward Tom Canning (Oak Beach, NY/Babylon) was third in scoring with 10 points.

Mount Saint Vincent also had three in double figures as Tim Biolsi tallied a game-high 20 points. Derek Charlton had 18 points and Kevin Garlan finished with 12 points, seven boards and five assists.

Farmingdale State will face Staten Island in a non-conference away game on Monday, December 11th at 7:30pm.
