Farmingdale State - 93, Polytechnic - 70


Farmingdale, N.Y. – Sophomore guard Dan Phillips (Baldwin, N.Y./Baldwin) scored a game and career-high 24 points in the Rams 93-70 conference victory over Polytechnic (4-16, 2-11) tonight in Farmingdale, N.Y. Farmingdale State improved to 15-4, 12-1 in the Skyline, scoring 62 points in the first half.

Three other players scored in double figures for the Rams. Junior guard Damien Santana (Brooklyn, N.Y./Grady) had 20 points, seven assists and six steals. Junior forward Erastus Shannon (Amityville, N.Y./Copiague) finished with 14 points and seven rebounds. Junior guard Peter Lipka (Shelton, Conn./Shelton) scored 10 points.

For Polytechnic, freshman forward Arjun Ohri (Bridgewater, N.J./Solebury Prep) finished with 24 points and three blocked shots. Senior guard Tyree Williams (Philadelphia, Pa./Engineering) had 15 points and eight boards.

Farmingdale State hosts Maritime College on Saturday, February 9th at 1:00 p.m.
