Farmingdale, N.Y. – Farmingdale State
improved to 16-4, 13-1 in the Skyline Conference today with an
81-55 victory over Maritime College (9-11, 6-7) in men’s
basketball action in Farmingdale, N.Y. The Rams have
now won 12 straight games, a program record, with five games
remaining in the regular season. Junior guard Damien Santana
(Brooklyn, N.Y./Grady) finished with a game-high 29 points for the
Rams, hitting 7-of-10 three pointers.

Senior guard Warren McAllister (Far Rockaway, N.Y./Far Rockaway) scored 13 points, while junior forward Erastus Shannon (Amityville, N.Y./Copiague) finished with 12 points. Sophomore guard Merlin Bass (Queens, N.Y./Holy Cross) had eight assists from the point, along with nine points and four steals.
For Maritime, senior center Michael Stolberg (Bayside, N.Y./Holy Cross) led with 11 points, while junior forward Tim Dougherty (Fresh Meadows, N.Y./St. Francis Prep) had 10 points.
Farmingdale State now travels to play City Tech on Tuesday, February 12th at 7:00 p.m.
