2010-11 Men's Basketball Season Recap

Farmingdale, N.Y. - The men's basketball team finished the season with an overall record of 16-10, including 15-5 in the Skyline Conference. The Rams were defeated in the quarterfinals of the Skyline playoffs by Old Westbury.

Junior Joshua Smith, a Second Team All-Conference selection, led the team in scoring averaging 15.2 points per game and steals with 43. Smith also posted a team-high 74 assists and averaged over five rebounds a game from his guard position. Junior Dyshaun Flournoy, who was also named Second Team All-Skyline, was second on the team in scoring (14.5 ppg) and led the team with 62 three-point field goals.

Senior Jermaine Abraham led the team in rebounding averaging 7.6 per game, blocked shots with 21 and averaged over 10 points a game. Senior John Dabney averaged 10 points per game in his only year at Farmingdale State.
