![]() Carrabs' Seven Point Game Leads Rams over Vassar

Vassar College, 4 Farmingdale, NY - The Farmingdale State men's lacrosse team won their second straight game today over Vassar College (1-4) to improve to 2-4 overall. Sophomore attacker Gianluca Carrabs (Glen Cove, NY/Glen Cove) finished with seven points (two goals and five assists) to lead the Rams to an 11-4 victory. Junior attacker Ryan LaFlare (Lindenhurst, NY/Lindenhurst) scored three goals, notching the game-winner with 13:05 remaining in the third period to give Farmingdale State a 5-1 lead. Sophomore goalkeeper Chris Hardgrove (Farmingdale, NY/Farmingdale) got the win in net with four saves in 39 minutes played. Junior midfielder Vito Cataldo (West Islip, NY/West Islip) had three goals for the Brewers. Sophomore attacker Eric Schrager (Santa Maria, CA/Dunn School) added one goal. The Rams will travel to Manhattanville College on Saturday, March 25th for a Knickerbocker Lacrosse Conference game at 1:00pm. |
