Sophomore defender Marcos Cipra (Long Beach, N.Y./Long Beach) was named the Skyline Conference Player of the Week for men's soccer on Monday, September 24th.

Cipra anchored a defense that limited a pair of Skyline Conference opponents to a total of eight shots in a 2-0 week. The Rams earned shutout victories over Yeshiva and Bard to ascend to the top of the Skyline Conference standings. In the victory over Bard, Cipra scored what proved to be the game-winning goal on a long shot with just three seconds left in the first half that gave Farmingdale State a 1-0 lead.

The Skyline Conference Weekly Reports for fall sports are announced by the Conference on Monday nights. Reports (including players of the week and statistics) are available to view on the Skyline website at www.skylineconference.org.
