Thompson is a starting defender and tri-captain, who has become a major factor in the team's backfield. Rodriguez is a talented midfielder, who will bring a mixture of offense and defense to this year's squad.

The Rams (0-2) had a rough start to the 2004 season as they fell to Swarthmore (3-0) and Widener (1-1) in their season opening tournament in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania. The Rams were defeated by Swarthmore College in the first game, 9-0. Against Widener in the consolation game, they suffered a 5-0 loss. Farmingdale's Patric Santiago (Baldwin, NY) and Brett Southard (Carmel, NY) each played a game in goal. Santiago made 8 saves and Southard finished with 5 saves.

The Ram's next game is at home on September 11th against Staten Island at 2:30pm.
