Rams Fall in Final Seconds to St. Joseph?s

Chris Kunzig (Hauppauge, NY/Hauppauge) scored with 34 seconds remaining for St. Joseph’s (4-6, 1-3 Skyline) to defeat Farmingdale State (4-5-1, 2-3 Skyline) on their home turf, 2-1, in a Skyline Conference men’s soccer game on Saturday afternoon. Kunzig score the Golden Eagles’ first goal 20 minutes into the game on a penalty kick, before Farmingdale’s Fabian Santibanez (Oyster Bay, NY/Oyster Bay) tied it up at the 50 minute mark.

St. Joseph’s goalkeeper Mark Tripi (Miller, Place, NY/Miller Place) made one save for the win, while Patric Santiago (Baldwin, NY/Baldwin) finished with three saves for Farmingdale.

The Rams return to action on Tuesday, October 4th at home against the College of Mount Saint Vincent at 4:00pm.
