Rams Win Match over Blue Knights

Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's tennis team took a 7-2 victory over Mount Saint Mary College on Saturday afternoon in a Skyline Conference match-up. The Rams improved to 5-4 overall, 3-1 in the conference.
Farmingdale took 2-of-3 points in doubles play, with an 8-3 win by

Genzmann and Alex Bessarabov
at first singles and an 8-1 win by Joe Hotzak and Adrian
Summerlin at third singles.
The Rams then dominated singles play, taking 5-of-6 points over the Blue Knights. Wins were posted by Bessarabov (6-2, 6-2) at first singles, Theo Gioles (6-2, 6-4) at second singles, Genzmann (6-3, 6-4) at third singles, Summerlin (6-2, 6-0) at fifth singles and William Jimenez (6-4, 6-1) at sixth singles.
Farmingdale State has just four matches left in regular season play. They host Merchant Marine on Tuesday, April 13th at 4:00 p.m.
