St. Joe's Hands Rams First Loss
St. Joseph's - 7, Farmingdale State - 2
Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's
tennis team was defeated by conference opponent St. Joseph's, 7-2,
on Wednesday afternoon in Farmingdale, N.Y. The Rams fell behind
3-0 after the doubles matches and could not catch up in singles
play, falling for the first time this season.
Farmingdale had two individual wins, by Matt Kaczmarczyk at #2
singles (6-2, 2-6, 6-2) and freshman Tom Johnsen at #3 singles
(6-2, 6-1).
The Rams now hold a 4-1, 2-1 record in the Skyline, while St. Joe's stands at 8-3, 5-0 Skyline. Farmingdale now hosts City Tech in a non-conference match this Saturday, April 11th at 1:00 p.m.
