FSC Records Seventh Straight Win with Victory at St. Joe's-Brooklyn

Farmingdale State - 9, St. Joseph's-Brooklyn - 0

Harrison, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's tennis team has now won seven consecutive matches after Sunday's 9-0 victory over St. Joseph's-Brooklyn. The 9-0 win marks the fourth consecutive match that the Rams have not allowed a point.

FSC (7-2, 3-0) cruised in doubles play as Andy Bentz (Massapequa Park, N.Y.) and Daniel Kafka (Massapequa Park, N.Y.) recorded an 8-0 victory, Dan Baruch (East Meadow, N.Y.) and Kevin Palacios (Glen Cove, N.Y.) carded an 8-1 win and Joseph Drago (Bronx, N.Y.) along with Patrick Madigan (Sayville, N.Y.) won 8-0.

At first singles, Bentz recorded a 6-1, 6-2 victory, while Palacios (6-3, 3-6, 6-3) won in the second slot. Kafka (6-1, 6-1), Baruch (6-1, 6-1), Drago (6-0, 6-0) and Josh Kaplan (Greenlawn, N.Y.) (6-3, 6-2) rounded out singles play for the Rams.

The men's tennis team next will face Yeshiva at the Binghamton Racquet Club in Edgewater, N.J. on Wednesday, April 13th at 8:00 p.m.
