Flushing, N.Y. - In the Skyline Conference Semifinals last night, the fourth-seeded Farmingdale State men's tennis team fell to #1 Yeshiva University, 5-1, at the USTA Center in Flushing, N.Y. FSC ends the season with a record of 4-10, while the Maccabees (12-5) advance to the finals and will host #2 Merchant Marine on Sunday.
The Rams claimed 1-of-3 points in doubles competition as the pairing of junior Bradley Maslak (Middle Island, N.Y.) and freshman Matthew Ramsay (Bay Shore, N.Y.) earned an 8-2 win over senior Charlie Friedman (Montreal, Quebec) and sophomore Avidan Rudansky (Mamaroneck, N.Y.) in the #3 position.
In singles, Farmingdale State fell in the first, second and fourth positions, while the other three matches were unfinished as Yeshiva claimed the 5-1 semifinal victory.
