The Rams had their first indoor track meet, the Collegiate Track Conference (CTC) Relays, this Sunday, December 4th at Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, CT. Shane Smith (Brooklyn, NY/Lafayette) won the pole vault in a school record and ECAC qualifying (4.57m) 15'0". Shane now holds both the indoor and outdoor pole vault records at Farmingdale State. He also ran on the 2nd place 4x400m Relay.
Ian Lovergie (Castle Point, NY/Beacon) won the high jump in an ECAC qualifying 6'6" (1.98m). Ian is tied for 5th place in the All-Time Top 10 High Jump performances. Ian also anchored the 4th place 4x200m Relay.
Ian was closely followed by Akil Williams (Kingston, NY/Kingston) in the High Jump, at 6'4"/1.93m, another ECAC qualifier. Together, they won the High Jump Relay.
Chris Okolie (Bethpage, NY/Hills East) won the shot put in an ECAC qualifying 49'11 ¾" (15.23m).
The men's team placed 4th in the meet.
For the women's team, the all freshmen Sprint Medley Relay team of Shannon Tulloch (Jamaica, NY/Jamaica), Ivory Elder (Dix Hills, NY/Hills West), Rehana Collins-Sukdeo (Smithtown, NY/Farmingdale) and Karla Joseph (Brooklyn, NY/Clara Barton) ran 4:40.17 to place 3rd and set a new school record.
Kara Grech (Farmingdale, NY/Farmingdale) set a school record in the pole vault of 7'6" (2.29m).
Colleen Smith (Huntington Station, NY/Copiague), 8.08, and Rachael Osbourne (Rosedale, NY/Mary Louis Academy), 8.60, teamed up to placed 4th in the 55m Dash Relay.
The women placed 8th in the meet.

4x200m Relay 4th place Joseph Boaheng, Kenny Adams, Earl Noel, Ian Lovergie, 1:36.54.

4x400m Relay 2nd place Reggie Routier, Shane Smith, Jason Chin Chitty and Patric Santiago, 3:35.32.
Long Jump Relay 3rd place Jason Chin Chitty, 20' ½" (6.13m) and Reuben Hairston, 19' 11 ¾" (6.09m).
Triple Jump Relay 2nd place Reggie Routier, 42'4" (12.90m) and Patric Santiago, 42' ½" (12.81m).
