ECAC Championships - Harvard University - March 6-7, 2008
Boston, Mass. - The men's and women's indoor track team traveled to Harvard University in Boston, Mass. on March 6th and 7th to compete in the ECAC Championships. Junior Naveed Mohammed scored in three events, including the 55m Dash, Long Jump and the lead of the 3rd place 4x220m Relay team. The men's team placed 29th out of 75 entered teams and 58 scoring teams at the meet.
Junior Cathryn McLean placed 6th in the High Jump to become the first woman ECAC scorer in school history. Cathryn will travel to Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio to compete in the NCAA Division III National Championship. She is the first Farmingdale State woman to compete in the Nationals in school history.

4x220yd Relay - Naveed Mohammed, Reuben Hairston, Jason Chin Chitty, Kensley Norian - 3rd place, 1:31.63. (Converted to meters - 4x200m - 1:31.03 - season best, they move to #3 on All-time Farmingdale List).
4x440yd Relay - Jason Chin Chitty, Kensley Norian, Akil Williams, Mike Leeb - 3:26.88 (converted to meters - 4x400m - 3:25.48, season best)
Triple Jump - Chris Herbst, 13.61m (44' 8"), personal best
Triple Jump - Qasim Ellis, 13.61m (44' 8"), season best
Triple Jump - Kurt Johns-Harris, 13.40m (43' 11 3/4"), season best
55m Hurdles - Earl Noel, 8.03, personal best
