Cross Country Finishes 8th at St. Joe's Invite

Kings Point, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's and women's cross country teams both placed 8th in the St. Joseph's Invitational at Sunken Meadow Park on Saturday, October 20th. Seventeen teams and 132 runners scored in the men's race and 12 teams and 105 runners in the women's race.

The men were led by junior Brandon Gillis (Hudson, N.Y./Hudson) who finished in 17th place (31:33) and freshman Kristyn Ruggiero (Commack, N.Y./Commack) in 16th place (23:09). Kristyns time now places her at 16th in Farmingdale's All-Time Sunken Meadow Park list.

Farmingdale State will now run in the Skyline Conference Championship on Sunday, October 28th at Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, N.Y.
