Tiernan Leads Men at Hofstra Invitational
Bethpage, N.Y. - Junior Sean Tiernan (Staten Island,
N.Y./Tottenville) ran an 8K personal best of 26:57 to place 10th
individually in this weekend's Hofstra "Buck Stone" Cross Country
Invitational held at Bethpage State Park on Saturday, September
11th. The Rams placed 4th in the team competition, against strong
Division I and II competition.
Senior Mary Orobona (Farmingdale, N.Y./Kellenberg), in her first race for Farmingdale, placed 27th in a time of 23:15. The women's team placed 6th in the team competition.
