Rams Post School Record Finish at ECAC Championships

ECAC Division III Cross Country Championships

Bristol, R.I. - The Farmingdale State women's cross country team finished in a program-best 33rd place out of 47 teams at the ECAC Championships held at Colt State Park in Bristol, R.I. The men's team placed 40th of 46 teams at the championship.

The women were led by senior Melissa Bonilla (Massapequa Park, N.Y.) who finished 132nd in a time of 25:53. Freshman Kristen Starke (Bellmore, N.Y.) finished 175th in 26:52.89, while sophomore Carina Bonilla (Massapequa Park, N.Y.) placed 216th of 327 runners in 27:45.09.

Freshman Jacob Kashani (Roslyn, N.Y.) led the men's team with a 107th place finish in a personal best time of 28:17.17, while sophomore Dan Barrett (Wantagh, N.Y.) finished 234th in 30:41.58.

Middlebury won the women's team championship, while Williams captured the men's title.
