ECAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships Oneonta State College Weather: May 17 - Partly cloudy, breezy, 55 degrees May 18 - Cloudy, cool, 45-50 degrees Oneonta, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's outdoor track team competed at the 2007 ECAC Outdoor Track Championships held at Oneonta State in Oneonta, N.Y. on May 17th and 18th. The men scored 24 points to tie for 11th out of 43 scoring teams and 54 entered teams. Junior team captain Reggie Routier (Freeport, N.Y./Freeport), competing with an injured hamstring, placed second in the Triple Jump with a 13.83m (45' 4 1/2") performance. Reggie was the Indoor Track ECAC Champion in the Triple Jump. Freshman Kensley Norian (East Meadow, N.Y./East Meadow) scored in three events, the 400-meter and the 4x100 and 4x400-meter Relays. Kensley was the Outdoor Track Men's Season MVP. Scoring Summary Triple Jump: Reggie Routier - 2nd place - 13.83m (45' 4 1/2"); Chris Herbst - 5th place - 13.50m (44' 3 1/2") - personal best Long Jump: Reuben Hairston - 5th place - 6.54m (21' 5 1/4") 400-meter: Kensley Norian - 8th place - 49.66 4x100-meter Relay: Jason Chin Chitty, Azell Green, Reuben Hairston, Kensley Norian - 8th place - 43.38 4x400-meter Relay: Kensley Norian, Jason Chin Chitty, Ray Thomas, Azell Green - 3rd place - 3:19.69 - season best Other notable performances: 110-meter High Hurdles: Chris Herbst - 9th place - 15.90; Earl Noel - 10th place - 15.91
