Farmingdale Wins President's Cup Second Year in a Row
Nov 1, 2004

The President's Cup is an annual competition between Old Westbury and Farmingdale State, both SUNY colleges, which was started by Athletic Director's Mike Harrington (Farmingdale) and John Lonardo (Old Westbury).

This is a point-system competition, where the winning school of each athletic contest throughout the academic year (Sept-May) receives points towards the President's Cup Competition. A win is 2 points, Tie is 1 point and a Loss is 0 points. 2002-03 was the inaugural year of the President's Cup competition, with Farmingdale winning the competition by one point. Farmingdale took the 2003-04 President's Cup by a score of 16-8.
