2006 Softball Season Summary

The softball team finished 7-15 record. Sophomore pitcher Jaclyn Buckshaw finished the season with a 2.24 ERA in 14 games pitched. She pitched 11 complete games for the Rams and held the opposing teams to a batting average of .250. She also only allowed 11 extra-base hits in 259 at-bats.

Junior Gina Moscato led the Rams offensively as the clean-up hitter in the lineup. She led the team with 13 RBI's, 23 hits and 12 runs scored. She finished with a slugging percentage of .448 and had six extra base hits, including five doubles and a triple. Junior Devan Weber led the team with a .375 batting average and was the team-leader in walks with 12. Sophomore Erin Dodge finished hitting .291, 16 hits, nine RBI's and had the fewest strikeouts (7). Senior Tiffany deBeaumont was third on the team with 18 hits, 10 runs scored and nine RBI's. Freshman pitcher Rachele Fischer finished the year 3-2 with a 4.57 ERA. She pitched a no-hitter against Purchase, allowing just one walk in an 8-0 victory.
