Farmingdale, NY - Freshman pitcher Jaclyn Buckshaw (Oakdale, NY/Connetquot) pitched the first-ever perfect game in Farmingdale State school history in game one of a double-header against Maritime College (1-4, 0-4 Skyline). Buckshaw struck out eight in the 12-0 win, before the Rams took game two 13-5 to complete the sweep and improve to 4-0 overall, 4-0 in the Skyline. Also in game one, Farmingdaleís senior catcher Kristen Tong (Swanzey, NH/Monadnock Regional) hit the first-ever over-the-fence home run at Farmingdaleís field. Tong led the Rams with 5 RBIís in game one.

Ashley Kenny (Huntington, NY/Huntington) pitched game two for the Rams, allowing only one earned run. Falon Taddeo (Oceanside, NY/Oceanside) led the team with three RBIís, while Meghan Newell (Huntington, NY/Huntington) finished with two hits, 2 RBIís and two runs scored. Devan Weber (Huntington, NY/Huntington) had three stolen bases on the day, along with three RBIís.

The Rams host York College tomorrow in a double-header starting at 3:00pm.
