Softball Ends Season with Conference Sweep

The Farmingdale State softball team ended their season with an 11-11 overall record, 8-8 in Skyline Conference play after a sweep over visiting Mount Saint Vincent (12-14, 4-12 Skyline) on Thursday afternoon at Farmingdale field. Jaclyn Buckshaw (Oakdale, NY/Connetquot) pitched two complete games allowing only seven hits for the Ramsí 3-2 and 22-1 victories.

Farmingdale freshman Rebecca Santoriello (Seaford, NY/Island Trees) was 3-for-3 in game one with a run scored and RBI. Tiffany deBeaumont (Farmingdale, NY/Farmingdale) had three hits and 5 RBIís in game two for the Rams.

Mount Saint Vincentís Mary Kate Walker (Goshen, NY/John S Burke) led the team with two hits. Daria Calvecchio (Broomall, PA/Archbishop Carroll) struck out six batter in defeat in game one.
