Heather Buckshaw Named Skyline Rookie of the Week
Farmingdale State freshman pitcher Heather Buckshaw (Oakdale,
N.Y./Connetquot) was named the Skyline Conference Rookie of the
Week for women's softball on Monday, April 28th.
Buckshaw compiled a 3-0 record with a 0.53 earned run average in
three starts. In three games last week, Buckshaw allowed just nine
hits and one run over 17 innings. She struck out 21 while walking
just three. Farmingdale State went 8-0 during the final week of the
regular season to improve to a program-best 29-9.
