Lawrenceville, N.J. - Freshman first baseman Aubrey Walker (West Babylon, N.Y./West Babylon) was named Skyline Conference Player of the Week and sophomore pitcher Heather Buckshaw (Oakdale, N.Y./Connetquot) was named Pitcher of the Week for softball on Monday, April 20th.

Walker batted.414 (12-for-29) with two doubles, two triples, a home run, six runs scored and 15 runs batted in as the Rams went 7-1 last week, all against Skyline Conference opponents. Walker, who drove in five runs against Polytechnic, four against Old Westbury and six versus Purchase, now has 33 RBI on the year.

Buckshaw went 4-0 last week, picking up four Skyline victories in a 7-1 week for the Rams. in 24.0 innings of work, Buckshaw surrendered just 13 hits and three earned runs (0.88 ERA).
She also struck out 23 while walking just one in picking wins over Polytechnic, Old Westbury, Sage and Purchase.
