
Farber and Keenan Named ECAC All-Metro
Cape Cod, Mass. - Sophomore shortstop Nicole
Farber (Oakdale, N.Y./Connetquot) and freshman outfielder Kaitlin
Keenan (West Islip, N.Y./West Islip) were each named Eastern
College Athletic Conference All-Metro First Team for softball.
Farber played in all 40 games for Farmingdale State and led the
team with a .435 batting average. She had 54 hits in 124 at bats,
including a team-high 11 doubles and 13 homeruns. Farber's 13
homeruns is a new Farmingdale State College single season record.
She led the Rams with 43 RBI's and 43 runs scored, while holding a
slugging percentage of .871.
Keenan started every game for the Rams and batted .434, with a
team-high 59 hits this season. Keenan had 42 runs scored and 32
runs batted in, with a .603 slugging percentage. She had eight
doubles, three triples and three homeruns on the year.
