Nicole is a 2007 graduate of Connetquot High School, where she was named All-Division at third base in 2005, All-Conference at shortstop in 2006 and was an All-Region shortstop in 2007. Nicole also received All-Long Island and All-State honors at Connetquot. She is the daughter of Mary and William Farber.
