Four Rams Earn All-Conference Softball Honors


New York, N.Y. - Four members of the Farmingdale State softball team were named to the All-Skyline Conference Team this season.

Freshman catcher Meagan Anderson (Patchogue, N.Y.) was the Skyline Conference Rookie of the Year and a First Team All-Conference selection. Senior first baseman Jennifer Jarczynski (West Babylon, N.Y.), senior third baseman Kristen Flint (Brentwood, N.Y.) and sophomore outfielder Michelle Mongiello (Elmont, N.Y.) were all named to the First Team.

Anderson leads the team in batting average (.412), runs scored (39), hits (56), triples (3), home runs (4), slugging percentage (.647), on-base percentage (.441), stolen bases (9) and fielding percentage (.989). Jarczynski is batting .369 and has a team-leading 32 runs batted in and is second with 48 hits, while Flint is batting .330 with seven stolen bases. Mongiello is second on the team in RBI's with 29 and has only committed four errors defensively this season.
